What is your check in & out times?
Check in is from 2pm and check out is 10am. If you wish to arrive earlier than 2pm or check out later than 10am please let the hotel know. Please be aware that although we will always do our very best to accommodate your request we cannot guarantee the extension of your stay and it will be subject to availability on the day concerned. Should you wish to guarantee an early check in or late check out a fee will apply.
Can I book online?
Absolutely. Our online reservation system displays real time availability which means every single room available will be available via our online booking system.
When I make a reservation do you charge my credit card?
Normally no, however there are certain rates (eg Super Saver & 14 Day Advance Purchase Rate) which do require full prepayment at the time of booking. If your booking does not require prepayment the credit card is held for guarantee purposes only and will not be charged unless the guest does not arrive or cancels a room within the cancellation period.
What is your cancellation period?
Any bookings cancelled or amended after 2pm on the day prior to arrival or if the guest does not arrive will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to one nights accommodation. Please note there are some rates (eg Super Saver & Advance Purchase rates) that do not allow the bookings to be cancelled or amended.
What age do I need to be to stay at Hotel on Devonport?
You must be 18 years or older to stay at Hotel on Devonport unless you are sharing a room with or are in an interconnecting room with a parent or legal guardian.
Can I get Hotel on Devonport to organise flowers on my behalf?
We are more than happy to organise flowers, or any other special request, and have them delivered to the room prior to arrival.
Can I hold a booking without a deposit or credit card?
We can hold a booking for a maximum of 48 hours without any form of guarantee. If your arrival date is within 48 hours of arrival or you are booking over a public holiday or public holiday weekend then we are unable to hold a room without a valid credit card.
Can I have friends over for a party or get together?
While we love a good party unfortunately, for the comfort of all our guests, we do not allow any parties or get togethers in our accommodation rooms.
Can I smoke at the hotel?
Hotel on Devonport is proud to be a non-smoking hotel however we do permit guests to smoke on the balconies provided the sliding door is closed and the fresh air switch is turned to the off position.
